New York once was a pretty decent place to be a ninety-nine percenter and I'm old enough to remember those days.
We had real rent control.
Our public schools were tops.
The City University was not only tuition free, but if you passed a multiple choice test you got a stipend that covered your carfare and lunch money pretty well.
Public Health clinics were functional and free.
Marijuana was virtually decriminalized.
There were union jobs out there.
What happened???????
The ninety-nine percent is in retreat on all fronts worldwide, and New York City is not only no exception, it is a leader in this retrogressive trend.New York City has become a theme park for the very rich and not so nice for everyone else.
By voting for me as a write-in candidate you will be saying "enough!" and you will shake the world, for the better.
The one percent is literally telling the ninety-nine percent to "drop dead."
The most terrible example of this "drop dead" plan is the fact that our schools are infested with dangerous carcinogenic PCBs- chemicals that stunt the development of the very brains of the children in the classrooms.
Now, wouldn't you think that this is an emergency? I sure do, but have you heard the other candidates say so? NOPE.

Ah, not to worry dear people! Bloomberg says that in ten years we can clear all of the PCBs out!
So, "only" ten years of exposure to carcinogenic brain-mangling poison for the children of New York City. This is not acceptable to me. I say that this is an emergency of tguard start removing the ballasts in all of the schools post haste.he top order. I will ask Governor Cuomo to have the National start removing the PCB loaded light fixtures post haste. And the caulking. And the soil.
I'll ask President Obama for the Army Corps of Engineers to get on this also. There needs to be a total remediation of the air ducts, air conditioning systems right now, not over the next ten years.
Michal Bloomberg, this is another one of your incredible fails! You fought to get control of the schools from the community board. You told us that the buck would stop with you. You gave us idiot socialite Cathie Black, someone so inept that now, when a person screws up royally we call that screw-up a "Cathie Black moment."
That's the contempt that Michael Bloomberg and his one percenter cohorts have for you and your children. - Put an idiot in charge of the public schools.
You must have thought that one doesn't need to know jack sh$t about anything to run the public schools.
I will ask respected education leader and theorist Dian Ravitch to run the shcools. If she can't do it I'll ask her for a short list of her picks for this very vital, very Important job, because our children are the reason we are alive to begin with- for us to pass the sacred spark of human dignity on down te generations.
While it's true not everyone can or wants to or will be a parent the entire society has to take some responsibility for the next and coming generations. That's how things work.
